Introduction to the Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower
The Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower is a powerful desktop that comes with an Intel Core i5 13th generation processor. This desktop is designed for perfect performance with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and 512 GB SSD. It is an excellent choice for users who are looking for customization possibilities.
Customization Process
Recently, a customer approached us to get some customization done in this desktop. They needed to add a LAN card and install an additional SSD. We added TP-Link's LAN card as per the customer's requirement and installed Crucial's SATA SSD. This process helps customers to get maximum performance out of the device as per their requirements.
Windows installation issues
This device had DOS preinstalled, so the customer instructed us to install Windows as well. We hurriedly installed Windows on the Crucial SATA SSD. But after some time, the system started throwing blue screen errors. When we investigated the issue, it turned out that Windows was installed on the Crucial SSD. We then reinstalled Windows and this time made sure it was on the NVMe SSD.
This experience made us understand how important it is to choose the right SSD and pay attention to Windows installation procedures during desktop customization. Proper customization and installation ensures the functionality and stability of the device in the future.
